Feature Highlights
- Easy to use: The mod is simple enough that it can be used without reading any instructions. Looking at the home page of this site should give you a good idea what it can do. If you want to dig deeper read the FAQ for full instructions.
- Resource efficient: The mod is kept very lightweight, in a typical configuration the mod will use less than 1% of memory and less than 0.1% of processing power. The rating database is compressed every time you synchronise with the web site.
- No interference: The mod does its work in the background and it is well behaved in that it does not interfere with your game, and it does not depend on other mods.
- Robust: Several checks are in place to signal potential hacking activity and to catch software glitches.
Version History
v.2.40
- Updated to work with latest patch
v.2.30 beta
- Playrate now stores people from other servers that you rate in the battlegrounds in a "name-realm" format. It is the same format you should use if you want to adjust their rates by slash commands. Be wary that when you try to rate someone from another server who is outside visible range, that WOW doesn't correctly pass on the realm name. When you type /rate, those players might show up with their player name only, as if they're on your realm.
- In chats you will now see (S/A) added to player names for which a Skill and Attitude rating is available.
- You can rate players in chat as well (right click), using the target window (but this doesn't work always (not cross-realm, I think).
